This year the WA State Government has announced changes to most electricity tariffs, in line with inflation. These changes come into effect from 1 July 2024.

Esperance residents who embraced the energy transition earlier this year are already reaping the rewards of substantial savings on their electricity bills, according to Horizon Power's Esperance Energy Transition Program Knowledge Sharing Report, released today.

Horizon Power is proud to support regional and remote Western Australia by awarding $530,575 to 65 community organisations as part of our Community Partnerships Program Round 7. This significant funding will provide vital support to numerous community initiatives across the regions we serve, strengthening the fabric of these communities.

Horizon Power is thrilled to announce that Stephanie Unwin, our Chief Executive Officer, will continue to steer the organisation for an additional five years. The Horizon Power Board has extended Ms. Unwin's term of service until 2028, recognising her outstanding leadership over the past four years.

Horizon Power aims to test the capabilities of a long-duration, 100% renewable energy supply, supporting the Cook Government's commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. The vanadium battery's temperature resilience, stable energy storage, and potential for microgrids and off-grid systems make it a game-changer.
